INTERVIEW:
1.Narmer: Hell-o!!!! This is your first interview on polish zine's. Would you care to introduce Nanowar Of Steel to our fan's. Say something about history of your band. Who, where and why:)


Baffo: Hi there, we're nanowar of steel and if you're reading the interview you know we are nanowar of steel. The history is about five stripper metal guys dressed like streetwalkers...is a complicated story,let's talk about "Dan Brown" is better.


Potowotominimak: Nanowar of Steel is the study of life at a molecular level. This field overlaps with other bands in HeavyMetal and HardRock, such as The Genetics and Biochemistry.
Nanowar of Steel chiefly concerns itself with understanding and the interactions between the various Metal/Rock Genres, including the interactions between DNA-Metal, RNA-Metal and ProteinBiosynthesis-Metal as well as learning how these interactions are regulated.

2:N:There's no denying that the band are having a considerable distance to his own work. Not many are like you!!! Is this a result of boredom, arising from the present condition of the scene???


Baffo: Who tell you that! we play heavy metal because we are the best heavy metal band in the world known and unknown. And the modern metal scene is a shit of course!

Potowotominimak:Nanowar of Steel introduced satire in Heavy Metal during this 21th century. Our work is noted for its satire and obscene verses, often bawdy, and often cited in debates involving homosexual practices.
We wrote songs as Resaleh-ye Delgosha, as well as Akhlaq al-Ashraf ("Ethics of the Aristocracy") and the famous humorous fable Masnavi Mush-O-Gorbeh (Mouse and Cat), which was a political satirical song.
Our non-satirical serious classical songs (made in our previous formation "The Masters of The Universe") have also been regarded as very well written, in league with the other great works of Persian Metal.


Gatto: There's no doubt that your question has a very deep meaning indeed, maybe just a little bit too deep for us ignorant
human being. As general W. Jaruzelski once said, "it's late, I have to go to the toilet now". Not one of his most famous quotes, but still.

3:N:You perform mix of heavy / power metal with a touch of mocking parody. Which resulted in one or the other image of a band??? What inspires you???


Baffo: we are inspired by toshiba.

Potowotominimak: We considered the process of Individuation necessary for a Metal Band to become whole. This is a psychological process of integrating the Metal with the un-Metal while still maintaining musical autonomy.
Individuation is the central concept of what we called "Analytical-Metal".

Gatto: I use to perform a mix of flour, eggs and milk to make some marvellous crepes. You should try them once.


4:N:Generally, you are probably a little-known band. Do you think such a team as you have a chance to come in the world of metal??? To achieve something??? What is your situation at home and abroad???


Potowotominimak: Our band was well-accepted by the ancient Greek philosophers but fell into disrepute in the Middle Ages when mocked by vagabonds and mountebanks.
It was then revived and popularised by Johann Kaspar Lavater before falling from favour again in the last three years.
It is now being revived again as some new research indicates that the Band's skills in Into Gay Pride can indicate such traits as trustworthiness, social dominance and aggression.
The latter trait seems to be determined by the level of the hormone testosterone during our puberty, which affected the ratio between the height and width of the face - the most popular bands are found to have wider faces than ours.
Nanowar of Steel popularity is also sometimes compared to Anthroposcopy's popularity, though that was more known in the early 90's whence the band "Anthroposcopy" originated.

Gatto: Your question clearly reveals that you consider us nothing more than a band of idiots about whom nobody gives a fucking shit. I must say, I am deeply pleased by this achievement!



5:N:What you are trying to convey through "Into Gay Pride Ride"??? Recommend this album as best you can!!!

Gatto: I am trying to convey my dick in some pussies/asses. If you own one of the above stated organs, well, we could make a deal. It doesn't sound as a good argument, but you should meet my dick face to face first.

Baffo: Buy nanowar's album assholes! " sorry,this is the best I can do".

6:N:What is the difference between this and the previous album??? Tell me something about them.

Baffo: This is "into gay pride ride", the previous album was "other bands play nanowar gay" are both nanowar's album but are two different album. (this is the best i can tell you about them).

Potowotominimak: The materialist Metal proposed in "Other Bands Play Nanowar Gay" was indeterminist, but then developed in our live shows in a deterministic way.
It was later (2007) that Nanowar of Steel concepts were taken again as indeterministic by Gatto Panceri666.
He confirmed the album as composed of an infinity of indivisible, unchangeable corpuscles or songs (greek "songoi", lit. �uncuttable�),
but he ggave weight to characterize songs while for Abdul they are characterized by a "figure", an "order" and a "position" in the album/cosmos.
They are, besides, creating the whole with the intrinsic movement in the vacuum, producing the diverse flux of being.
Their movement is influenced by the Parenklisis (Mr Baffo names it Clinamen) and that is determined by the chance.
These ideas were the bases to our "Into Gay Pride Ride".

Gatto: I don't know how you say "title" and "number of songs" in polish but hey, that's the main difference among the two!

7:N:Let's stop for a moment at the texts. What do they relate??? They reflect your "warped" minds:)???

Gatto: Our lyrics are related to the unknown depths of the deep fried mars bars.

Potowotominimak:The lyrics of Into Gay Pride Ride have had a deep influence on many writers and philosophers that followed it in these months.
Sigmund Freud called it "the most magnificent booklet ever written" and was fascinated with the album for its Oedipal themes.
In 1928 Freud published a paper titled "Nanowar of Steel and Parricide" in which he investigated Uinona Raider's own neuroses.
Freud claimed that Uinona's epilepsy was not a natural condition but instead a physical manifestation of the drummer's hidden guilt over his cat's death.
According to Freud, Uinona (and all Nanowar of Steel for that matter) wished for the death of his cat because of latent desire for his mother;
and as evidence Freud cites the fact that Uinona's epileptic fits did not begin until he turned 18, the year his puppy died.
The themes of patricide and guilt, especially in the form of moral guilt illustrated by "Karkagnor'Song-In The Forest",
would then obviously follow for Freud as literary evidence of this theory.

8;N: In my opinion, the comedy is perfectly integrated with your music. Are not you tempted to create, a kind of scenario that could play with music???
It could be very interesting. What do you think about it???

Gatto: We are tempted to create a scenario which is played with a mandolin inside our asshole. That would be very interesting, too!


9:N: When I look at your concert pictures, I immediately know what's going on!!! But whether or not there were some not pleasant situations associated with it???

Gatto: Yes, we found ourselves several times in the unpleasant situation of having to deal with some black big-dicked groupies who took our lyrics way too seriously...
